The Allergies Management section in CheckoutNgo is designed to assist store owners in complying with modern regulatory requirements related to food allergens.

Many restaurants and food retailers are now required to clearly indicate potential allergens in the products they sell. This feature simplifies the process by providing a predefined dataset of common allergens, such as gluten, milk, eggs, fish, and others, which can be assigned to products.

Each allergy entry in the system comes with a detailed description to help store owners understand and accurately assign the correct allergen warnings. For example, the system includes specific details about gluten and its derivatives or milk and lactose products, ensuring accurate labeling for customers.

To use this feature, store owners can click on the Assign button beside an allergen and link it to the relevant products in their inventory. This optional feature allows businesses that need to display allergy information to do so easily, while those that don’t require this feature can leave it disabled.

By leveraging this tool, store owners can build trust with customers, ensuring that they have the critical information they need to make safe and informed purchasing decisions. This is particularly beneficial for businesses in regions where food allergen disclosure is mandatory, helping ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.
